Samsung SGH-i780 BizBee Smartphone Review

Samsung is no stranger to business phones, but its efforts in the past have been a bit hit and miss and as a result it’s not exactly the first brand that business types think of when they’re looking for a new smartphone. So in an effort to up its reputation among these users it’s decided to introduce new branding for all its business smartphones. From now on Samsung handsets that are aimed specifically at a business audience will carry a new ‘BizBee’ branding.
The first smartphone to get the BizBee treatment is the SGH-i780. If this handset sounds familiar to you that’s because it’s already been on the market. Samsung gave it a relatively low key launch last year and we reviewed it back in April. However, for the re-launch Samsung has made some significant changes to the product, not least of which is that the operating system has been upgraded from Windows Mobile 6.0 to Windows Mobile 6.1.

Vivadi MediaMaster MM110 Multimedia Server Review

Last month John cast a critical eye over the Vivadi MM200, a terrific multimedia server with a built-in 1TB hard disk that allows you to rip DVDs and do away with all those space-consuming plastic cases, as well as carrying out a wide range of other PC and AV-related functions.
But if the £780 price tag of the MM200 was slightly out of your reach, then you might want to check out this cheaper 500GB version, which is still big enough to house a substantial amount of content. It replaces the MM100, Vivadi's previous 500GB server, and offers a series of improvements over its predecessor - most significantly of which is the lower price.

Palit Geforce 9600 Gt Green Edition Does Away With Auxiliary Power Input

Where invention pauses, innovation takes over. This seems to be the case with NVIDIA’s initiative to release “Green Edition” products of some of its popular GPUs, which brandishes energy-efficiency. NVIDIA’s move to release revisions of the G92 and G94 GPUs built on the newer 55 nm process, coupled with clock-speed and core voltage reductions, seems to have made it possible for manufacturers to redesign the cards in a way that they end up being not only energy efficient, but also cheaper to produce.
Palit seems to be one of the first to be out with a 9600 GT Green Edition accelerator that lacks a 6-pin PCI-Express power input. The card has reached retail channels in Japan, pictured by AKIBA.
