Fido to Offer 4GB Apple iPhone 3G for $99?

Well, this is a surprise for Canadians and the world, a 4GB iPhone 3G will be released by Fido. There’s also another surprise, an iChat video support and a possible front-facing camera (is this one of the 6 new iPhones to be released this year?). I’m loving the way Apple, Inc. is handling its mobile phone business. First releasing only one model, waiting a long two years to “flood” the market with iPhones, and the new iPhones, apparently, will share a lot of the parts, including screen and much of the chassis… which means more profit. This isn’t funny anymore. From now on, it’s going to be iPhone vs all smartphones.

These six-core Opterons are AMD's first processors using its Direct Connect architecture, and HyperTransport technology is claimed to offer up to 60 per cent more memory bandwidth than the last generation processors. AMD-V virtualization and AMD-P power management technologies are on call, too.

Carrier Certification Pointing To 4GB - 32GB iPhones?

An alleged approval by the PCS Type Review Certification Board suggests that Apple may be ready to launch new iPhones in 4GB, 8GB, 16GB and 32GB capacities, according to Engadget. If the source is correct, the certifications would add evidence to several rumors regarding Apple’s upcoming handsets, including the possibility of an entry-level iPhone and a high-end model that doubles the storage of the current 16GB version.

A previous report suggests Apple’s recent order of 100 million NAND chips, including 16Gb components, points to an upcoming 32GB variant. A promotional teaser from T-Mobile Australia briefly listed a 32GB in the “coming soon” section, although the listing was quickly pulled.
