NVIDIA PhysX - CUDA Power In Gaming Review

If you are well into your teens, chances are you would have a smattering of knowledge in physics. You might also know that Earth, though as wondrously complex as it, is actually strictly governed by certain laws of physics. So encompassing are these laws that it is even possible to predict to a great degree of accuracy, the height of waves at your nearby beach, 10 years from now.

Antec Skeleton System Case Review

I will be honest with you: most of contemporary system cases do not impress me. In my humble opinion, most of them have pretty ordinary design, while their price may often be way past the levels of “ordinary” products. Therefore, I thought it would be not a very good idea to ask me to review a system case from Antec: I would not be totally unbiased, because of pre-existing disappointed attitude. And the moment I saw Antec Skeleton I got even more certain of that.

Sansa Slotradio Comes With 1,000 Songs But No Play Button

Chip Chick’s Ali was able to test a unit of Sansa’s yet to be released slotRadio, their answer to Apple’s iPod shuffle. A quick look at the slotRadio tells us that the only thing the two music players have in common is their small size.
The most notable difference of the slotRadio from the Shuffle, and from all other music players, is that it comes preloaded with 1000 songs. Now we don’t know yet whether these will be pop songs or chart-toppers or crappy songs, but Ali says that “SanDisk is working with Billboard to provide the music, and Akon definitely has some music on there along with many other top hit artists.”

APSI M480 PMP Announced

This could be an Archos 5 rival, what with its 4.8-inch (800 x 480) touchscreen and form factor that says it plays videos and do it damned well. It runs on Windows CE 5.0 which we’ve seen a lot in this site. Compatibility: AVI, WMV, MP3, WAV, WMA, OGG, AC3, ASF, SWF, JPG, BMP, TIF, RAW, CXB, ZIP, PDF, PPT. It has TV out, up to 5 hours of video playback and choices of 30GB and 60GB. I wonder why they never include Bluetooth as a matter of course even in this day and age.

ASUS Royal Knight And Thermaltake SpinQ Coolers Review

It has been a while since air-coolers were just an addition to a system CPU. Unpretentious chunks of aluminum with the simplest fans attached to them are long gone. Today a CPU cooler is not just a device that can lower processor temperature, but also a pretty attractive thing. Cooling solutions like that have become inalienable part of any modding experience, and they may often be even more expensive than the actual CPUs. However, it can hardly become a problem for real enthusiasts. Sometimes manufacturers get so carried away trying to design a unique impressive solution that they simply forget about the main purpose of this solution: efficient processor cooling.
