MSI Wind U120 Memory Options: Do You Want 1GB Or 1GB?

We caught word of the newest MSI Wind netbook for sale. It’s the U120, which doesn’t offer much more than the existing U100. The U120H does add integrated 3G and an option for an SSD drive, but the U120-series appears to offer less in the memory expansion department.
It could be that this was reported prior, but I don’t recall noticing that the U120 will only support 1GB of on-board memory. If true, that’s very different from the U100, which offers a DIMM slot capable of caressing 512MB, 1GB or 2GB of RAM.

Cooler Master’s V10 Only Likes HOT CPUs

As many of you would have seen, we recently came in close contact with Cooler Master’s highly anticipated V10 heatsink, an absolute monster that already overshadows every existing air cooler on the market. And that’s without even having seen any test results leaked yet.
Not only does it look convincingly powerful and unmatched in the realm of heatsinks, but it should most certainly prove to be the case with its peltier (TEC) assisted design. However, although specifics and performance results are not yet allowed to be disclosed until the official release is upon us (slated for mid Feb), we’ve a little bit of info to share in regards to its cooling prowess, which came from the horse’s mouth.

Corsair Dominator 6GB 1866 MHz DDR3 Review

What would you say is the biggest product release last year that opened up a can of performance in it’s own segment ? Yeah .. it just has to be anything Core i7 related. The processors series rocks, the mainboards are expensive yet fantastic, and another thing it did and will continue to do so .. it drives sales of (and the move towards) DDR3 memory upwards.

Deals: 22-Inch Monitor For $150

Whoa, whoa, whoa… what is going on at CompUSA.com lately? That’s two aggressively priced 22-inch monitor deals in two days. This one from yesterday looked like a downright steal at $140 after a $50 mail-in rebate, but this one today looks even better.
First, it’s $150 out the door — none of the mail-in rebate hassle. Second, it’s got built-in speakers and an HDMI connection, which the one from yesterday doesn’t. The actual monitor is a Hanns-G HG-216DPB with a 21.6-inch viewable area, 1680×1050 resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 5ms response time, HDMI and VGA connections, and the built-in speakers.

Lian Li PC-888 PC Chassis Reminds US Of The Burj Al-Arab

We think the folks at Lian Li must have run out of inspiration when they came up with the PC-888 chassis, as one will most definitely associate it with the landmark Burj Al-Arab hotel in Dubai. Granted, you got to be pretty bold to bring one to your home, but it will be limited to a production run of just 500 units to make it all the more desirable since this is meant to celebrate Lian Li’s anniversary as a company.
