Professional photographers are a demanding bunch, and if they happen to have one of the latest (DSLR) cameras around then you’ll know they will crave for (at least) two things – more storage and more speed. Hearing their calls, Transcend toiled into the night for a few months (BEd: just an estimate) and have come up with the Extreme Plus 600X CompactFlash cards.
The new CF cards come in 8 and 16GB capacities, are complaint with the CompactFlash 4.0 standard and make use of Turbo MLC technology and a quad-channel mode UDMA 6 mode in order to deliver read and write speeds of up to 92 MB/s and 87 MB/s, respectively.
