The Comfort Lapdesk, from Logitech isn’t what I’d exactly call an innovative product but it’s European design makes it one of the more attractive laptop lap desks. The base of the Lapdesk is finished in a sturdy cotton like material while the desk portion is composed of a hard plastic. The space between the two pieces is vented and worked without flaw to keep the laptops heat dispersed and away from the ‘family jewels’.
After extensive use, though, my opinion of the Lapdesk is of a mixed one. The hard plastic surface was a tad too slippery for my 15-inch Macbook Pro’s rubber feet, which consistently resulted in my computer slipping down onto my lap while sitting reclined on the sofa. It would have been nice if Logitech had tossed in a lip or bevel to prevent this.
