Hitachi have announced a new triple-LCD projector, the Epson CP-X2010, with 2,200 lumen brightness and a 500:1 contrast ratio. The CP-X2010 also has integrated speakers, but unlike most onboard audio there’s a full 16W on offer.
The CP-X2010 is aimed predominantly at education markets, but we’d wager home installs would value its low 29 dBA noise rating and extended 5,000hr lamp life in Eco Mode. There’s also Source Naming - allowing users to rename sources so as to mean more than just “Input 2? - and closed captioning support.
