The GeForce GTX260 gets hotter after NVIDIA partners made their price cut down to $179. In light of this, GALAXY Microsystems added to its lineup the custom-built GeForce GTX260+ with 1792MB memory. This graphics card takes full advantage of the high-density Samsung K4J10324QD-HJ1A memory chip which has a capacity of 128MB. GALAXY had used fourteen Samsung memory chips to populate the 448-bit GDDR3 memory bus of the graphics card, doling out a total of 1792MB memory capacity to meet the demands of hardcore gamers.
This card was based on a 55nm G200-103-B3 GPU with 216 shader processors, and equipped with GALAXY’s custom-made cooler which incorporates three fans and five heatpipes to dissipate GPU heat effectively.
