Apple Redesigns The iPod Shuffle

Apple has completely redesigned its cheapest iPod with the introduction of the “all-new” iPod shuffle, described as the world’s smallest music player at nearly half of the size of the previous model.

In addition, the new 4GB shuffle gets the accolade of being the “first music player that talks to you”. The player’s new “VoiceOver” means the shuffle will “speak” song titles, artists, playlist names as well as battery life remaining.

The third-gen shuffle is said to be smaller than an AA battery with the capacity to hold up to 1000 songs, and a battery life of 10 hours, with all of the controls on the player’s earphone cord.
