Samsung and T-Mobile today announced the first 8MP camera phone to land on a U.S. carrier, the Memoir. The Memoir, which features a full touchscreen display, looks more like a point and shoot camera than a cell phone. The device will sport Samsung’s TouchWIZ user interface, which features a left sidebar that owners can use to drag and drop applications to and from the phone’s desktop. A new photo widget will allow Memoir owners to quickly share photos to Flickr, Kodak Gallery, Photobucket, and Snapfish. The Memoir will run on T-Mobile’s new 3G network, so it shouldn’t have an issue getting those pictures to the Web in a snap.
