Despite being a decent sized step in the right direction for AMD with its Phenom II CPU lineup, it still struggles to compete with the likes of Intel’s good old Core 2 range which has now been around for several years. A further swipe from Intel is about to come in the form of some big price drops across its Core 2 Quad lineup of processors next Monday.
