Apple has decided to no longer participate in the MacWorld Conference & Expo event as well as several other conferences, causing debate whether it is a good move for Apple itself and for hundreds of other companies that participate in this and similar events every year. The announcement of this year's non-participation of the conference will be held in January and the withdrawal of the introductory words of executive director Steve Jobs.
